Great piece. I was struck by there being “absolutely zero demand for what I do.” I’d have assumed men doing this work would be on the rise. Why do you think it’s not growing, given the obvious need and enormous benefits it can bring to an individual (not to mention communities and society as a whole)?
Thanks Chris. Maybe a truer statement is no one knows what I do - I’m fortunate that the guys in my groups seem to stay, sometimes for decades, so I’m not driven by a need to promote myself. I hear there are more and more men’s groups out there, more than ever in fact, and the fact Adolescence was broadcast the same week as Southgate’s speech is no coincidence, people are waking up
